SitelogIQ Acquires IKON EFS as Part of Growth Strategy

IKON is headquartered in Grandville, MI with locations in Atlanta, Denver, Grand Rapids, Los Angeles, Houston, and Phoenix.

The acquisition of IKON will enable SitelogIQ to significantly deepen its EV charging capabilities and extend its reach into new vertical markets. SitelogIQ designs and delivers building improvement programs that integrate lighting, EV charging, HVAC, controls, on-site solar, battery storage, and water efficiency for commercial and industrial real estate owners. This expertise, combined with IKON’s level 3 EV charging know-how and customer relationships in automotive dealership and retail verticals will strengthen customer service and delivery for both companies.

Automotive News: Store Led the Way with LED Lighting

Don Hinds Ford in suburban Indianapolis was an early adopter among dealerships when it converted from incandescent to LED lighting technology inside and out in 2013.

Swapping out 2,000-watt floodlight packages with 400-watt LED units on 50 exterior poles and converting interior showroom and service departments slashed power consumption and maintenance. Fixed Operations Director Jim Story says he’s never looked back.

Houston Chronicle: Houston Company Puts Savings Spotlight on LEDs

Before the owners turned to LED lighting in late 2014, Mike Calvert Toyota was paying $4,000 to $7,000 every month or so to replace bulbs that had burned out. The work required an outside company to use tall ladders in the showroom and boom trucks in the parking lot.

To change all that, the management turned to a Houston company, eTex Energy Solutions, now IKON (Revolux LED Solutions), to make the switch to LEDs. The lights are known for their longevity and efficiency, and the dealership saves roughly $10,000 a month on its electricity bill and maintenance costs.

Plus, the bright white LEDs better show off the cars’ true coloring at night.
